Please note. Attendance at NXHB is by invitation. Invitations are issued to those who have demonstrated through their quartetting experience that they have the ability and desire to learn ten to twelve songs of medium to hard difficulty word- and note-perfect within a four or five month period. Your application should speak to your quartetting experience. Once you have been to your first Rally you will see that there are reasons for this.

Once your application has been reviewed and accepted, you will receive an invitation to attend NXHB. If you are a first-time attendee (and not a member of another Brigade) you may be assigned a Musical Mentor. (If you know a member of NXHB who sings your voice part, who will be attending the rally, and who agrees to be your Mentor, the member MUST inform the registrar PERSONALLY by email that he has agreed to be your Mentor.)

Your Mentor will be fluent in your voice part and will be attending the Rally. He or she will work with you during the months leading up to the Rally while you learn your music, and they will try to attend run throughs with you. They may also listen to recordings you send and provide you with feedback. We want you to work closely with your Mentor to ensure that you will be 100% prepared and thus will have a successful experience at the NXHB Rally weekend.

Hopefully you have read the "About" page to become familiar with what a Brigade weekend asks of you and offers you.

    Sponsorship
If an existing member of NXHB has agreed to sponsor you, please place his or her name below. A sponsor is responsible for getting you all the help you need during the learning process and assessing your preparedness during the months leading up to the rally weekend. They will also be your musical mentor unless he is in a different part, in which case a separate musical mentor will be assigned to you. Note: even unsponsored first-time Brigade attendees, once accepted, may have a musical mentor assigned to them.

Remember, your application is not considered complete until you make the deposit of $158.00. You can do that after clicking "Submit" by using the PayPal button that will appear, or by check made out to NXHB and sent to our Treasurer, [ enter name and address here].
