Leland (Lee) Roger Daum, of Arlington, MA passed away on July 1st, 2026. Lee was born in 1953 in Newton, MA, to Phyllis and Arnold Daum along with 3 siblings (Audrey, Richard, and the late Robert Daum). Lee was a devoted husband, father, brother, uncle, and friend. He is survived by his loving wife, Diane, his two daughters, Sarah and Jessica, his sister Audrey, his brother Richard, and many beloved nieces and nephews. Lee was deeply connected to Judaism and will be remembered as a leader in his many communities. Lee had a life-long passion for singing that included high school bands, cantorial singing, barbershop choruses and quartets. Lee was the founder and first president of two Barbershop Harmony Brigades, New England Harmony Brigade and Mixed Brigade of New England, which collectively brought tremendous joy to thousands of singers. He loved music, food, reading, boats and spending time with his family and many friends. He made a great impact on many lives, and he will be dearly missed by all.
